By Manuela Wolf

is ethical goodness particularly so fascinating within the manner that its proponents during the a long time would prefer us to think? for example, in our time, there's even this most recent model of the preferred ethical notion shared by means of many, while Dalai Lama instructed that “[w]e want those human values [of compassion and affection]….Even with no religion,…we be ready to advertise those things.” (WK 2009)

The naivety of this well known ethical suggestion might be contrasted with an opposing (critical) proposal recommended now not in the past by means of Sigmund Freud (1966), who as soon as wrote that “men aren't mild creatures who are looking to be enjoyed, and who on the such a lot can safeguard themselves in the event that they are attacked; they're, to the contrary, creatures between whose instinctual endowments is to be reckoned a strong proportion of aggressiveness. for that reason, their neighbor is for them…someone who tempts them to meet their aggressiveness on him, to use his means for paintings with no reimbursement, to take advantage of him sexually with no his consent, to grab his possessions, to humiliate him, to reason him soreness, to torture and to kill him. Homo homini lupus.”

Contrary to the 2 opposing aspects of this conflict for the excessive ethical flooring, morality and immorality are neither attainable nor fascinating to the level that their respective ideologues would prefer us to think. yet one are usually not misunderstand this problem as a guideline that ethics is a valueless box of analysis, or that different fields of research (related to ethics) like political philosophy, ethical psychology, social experiences, theology, or maybe diplomacy will be disregarded. pointless to emphasize, neither of those severe perspectives is cheap either.

Instead, this publication presents an alternate (better) approach to comprehend the character of ethics, in particular with regards to morality and immorality—while studying from diverse techniques within the literature yet with no favoring anybody of them (nor integrating them, in view that they don't seem to be unavoidably suitable with each one other). This publication bargains a brand new idea to go beyond the present ways within the literature on ethics in a fashion no longer considered before.

This seminal venture is to essentially adjust the way in which that we predict approximately ethics, from the mixed views of the brain, nature, society, and tradition, with huge, immense implications for the human destiny and what I initially known as its “post-human” fate.
